Andrew Stuntz
Software consultant. I build, ship, and advise on software for founders and growing teams.
About

I've spent the last 14 years building software. Today I'm the founder of Guide Operations and Kegmeisters; previously I built products at Roostify and Canary. I work primarily in React and React Native, with backends in Ruby, JavaScript, or Python depending on the team. Most of what I do now sits between code and product: figuring out what to build, then building it.
I work best with founders and small teams that need to ship something real, fast. That usually looks like a first version of a product, a critical feature, an architecture rewrite that's been put off too long, or a stretch of senior engineering capacity while you hire. Engagements run from a two-week prototype to a multi-month build. Day to day I work in your stack, in your standups, against your goals — not from a slide deck.
I believe in shipping the smallest thing that proves the idea, making the boring decisions on purpose, and leaving the team better than I found it. Pace matters. Clarity matters more.
